Waterfall View East

8 Guests • 3 Bedrooms • 3 Beds • 3 Bathrooms (e-suite) • 3 Showers

Waterfall View East sits above a proper highland waterfall, the falls drop through a rocky gorge directly below the deck. One of only four private villas on the farm, each fully self-contained with no shared facilities.

The stone hot tub sits on the deck above the gorge. Wood-fired, hand-built from natural flat stone. Fire it up before dark. The highland air drops cold quickly at altitude. By the time it is ready, the waterfall is running below you, the escarpment sky is filling with stars, and the highland has gone completely quiet. Steam rises off the water. That is the moment this villa is remembered for.

The villa is built from hand-laid stone, exposed timber beams, and natural plaster in highland earth tones and deep olive. Every bedroom and living space opens through floor-to-ceiling glass onto the waterfall gorge and the open highland beyond. The construction is deliberate , materials drawn from the landscape, built to endure it.

Three en-suite bedrooms sleep up to eight guests. King or twin configurations. A fireplace anchors the main living area. A glass-enclosed sunroom adjoins the living space, built for the highland morning light. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catered stays. The open-plan lounge and dining area connects to the outdoor braai station.
